Linea MammaBaby® cares not only about our children’s present but also about their future and this is why we have decided to commit to safeguarding the environment in which they will grow up and live, aligning all our sun products with the directives in the Hawaiian Coral Treaty.

The main chemical molecules(Oxybenzone and Octinoxate) that shield against ultraviolet rays are guaranteed safe even for the most sensitive skin however, numerous recent studies have documented how they cause gradual severe bleaching of coral reefs and damage to the marine ecosystem.
In addition to weakening the ability to adapt to devastating climate change, these two molecules cause genetic mutations in corals and fish, leading to their death.
In response to this disaster, in 2018 the state of Hawaii banned the sale of sunscreens containing Oxybenzone and Octinoxate from 1 January 2021.
For this reason At Linea MammaBaby® we have chosen second-generation chemical filters because we believe they are better controlled and more effective, and safer for children’s delicate defenceless skin.
These filters have been chosen because they are friendly to the seas and marine life, and are free from nano-filters, silicones, PEGs, alcohol and benzophenone.
